Man suffers grievous injuries in traffic accident

A 42-year old Serbian man is receiving treatment for grevious injuries he sustained in a traffic accident earlier today.

The incident occurred in Dawret il-Gzejjer, St Paul’s Bay at about 12:30pm, when the man lost control of the motorcycle he was riding and hit a trailer used to carry boats and a parked car.

The victim was conveyed to Mater Dei, where he was found to have sustained grievous injuries but is not in danger of losing his life.

Investigations are ongoing.
