Man arrested in Marsa garage complex drugs bust

A man has been arrested following a police drug raid on a garage complex in Triq il-Gerrejja, Marsa.

During the search, police seized 22 packets of suspected cocaine, 47 packets of suspected heroin, cash and other items related to drug trafficking.

The man was arrested after he was found allegedly selling drugs from the area.

Police said in a statement that the raid by the drugs squad came after weeks of surveillance on the garage complex.  

Police investigations are ongoing.
