Motorcyclist hospitalised with grievous injuries following collision

A 27-year-old motorcyclist was hospitalised yesterday in order to receive treatment for grievous injuries he sustained in a traffic collision.

The accident took place at 8:45pm on Birkirkara Road, San Gwann, when the motorcyclist, driving a Honda CB600, and a 20-year-old woman from San Gwann driving a Toyota IQ2 collided.

An ambulance was dispatched and conveyed the man, of Birkirkara, to Mater Dei Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
