Woman grievously injured after being hit by car in Mosta

A woman was grievously injured this morning after being hit by a car in Mosta.

The 57-year-old woman, of St Julian’s, was hit on Maltese Missionaries Road, at about 6:00am. The car involved in the accident was a Honda Civic that was being driven by a 28-year-old man from Mdina.

The woman was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
