Motorcyclist grievously injured in Qormi collision

A young man was grievously injured in a traffic accident this morning on Triq San Bastjan, Qormi.

According to police, the accident took place at around 8:20am, when a collision occurred between a Citroen C3 driven by a 52-year-old woman, resident of Birkirkara, and a Hyosung motorcycle driven by a 24-year-old man, of Zebbug.

An ambulance was called on site to take the 24-year-old to Mater Dei hospital for further treatment.

Police investigation is still ongoing.
