Man pinned between two cars after driver crashes into parked vehicle

A 64-year-old Kalkara man was grievously injured this morning after becoming pinned between two cars.

According to police, it was about 10:00am on Triq tal-Barrani, Zejtun, in an area known as Bir id-Deheb, when a 46-year-old man, from Ghaxaq, crashed his Subaru Forester into a parked car. As a result of the impact, the parked car was pushed forward, pinning the older man between it and another parked car.

An ambulance was called on site to convey the man to Mater Dei hospital for treatment.

Police investigations are ongoing.
