Two men were injured this morning after an argument broke out in St Julian’s between a group of people, police said.

In a statement, police said they were called to St George’s Road at about 5:30am, where preliminary investigations showed that two Indian men, aged 27 and 29, had been injured in the encounter.

The two men were conveyed to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment, where it was determined that the 29-year-old had suffered grievous injuries, while the younger man was suffering from minor injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
