Four injured in Zejtun head-on crash

A 51-year-old German woman is reportedly in a critical condition following a car crash in Triq il-President Anton Buttigieg in Zejtun, which left a total of five people injured.

The condition of the remainder of the people involved in the accident remains unknown.

According to the police, the incident happened at roughly 12:40pm when two cars collided at considerable speed, with one of the passengers having been caught in on the vehicles for some time.

Police and members of the Civil Protection department were on site, and successfully releasing the person from the car.

In total, four individuals have been injured and have been taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
