Police ask public to help locate Tigné Point hold-up suspect
Police have called on the public to help in the hunt for Albanian Begtash Muka, in connection with the Tigné hold-up
The police have called on the public to help locate Begtash Muka, the 26-year-old Albanian wanted in connection with a hold up at Diamonds International in Pjazza Tigné in Sliema, which occurred a month ago.
Two armed men entered the jewellery store on 5 October, leaving two injured as they escaped with jewellery worth tens of thousands.
Police then asked the public to aid them in locating Albanian Ramazan Hysa, 24, in connection with the case.
They subsequently arrested two men and charged one, Daniel Muka, 22, with attempted murder and involvement in the robbery. Muka allegedly pulled a gun on police as they moved in to arrest him.
It is unknown whether Begtash Muka is related to Daniel Muka.
