Man grievously injured in Gzira after being hit by car

An Italian man was taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Gzira

A 62-year-old man was taken to Mater Dei with grievous injuries, after being hit by a car on Triq ix-Xatt, in Gzira.

According to police, the Italian man, a resident of Sliema, was hit by a Toyota Yaris, which was being driven by a 42-year-old man from Senglea.

Police investigations are on-going.
