Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash with car

A 24-year-old man from Haz-Zabbar was today injured in an accident involving the motorcycle he was riding and a car driven by a 27-year-old woman from Zurrieq.

The police were informed at around 2:30pm that their assistance was required in Triq Dicembru Tlettax, Marsa, and, on arriving at the scene, found that a crash had happened between the man’s Kawasaki Ninja and the woman’s Suzuki Swift.

The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for care, where his injuries were determined to be serious.

Police investigations are ongoing.
