Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in Imgarr collision

A 27-year old motorcyclist from Marsaskala suffered serious injuries following a collision with a Volkswagen Bora in Triq San Martin in Imgarr this morning.

The accident took place at about 6.30am on Monday morning. The man was driving a Honda motorbike while the Volkswagen was being driven by a 58-year old Tunisian from Mellieha.

When police arrived on the scene they called for an ambulance to transport the motorcyclist to Mater Dei. The Tunisian man was reportedly uninjured.

Investigations are ongoing.
