Cyclist seriously injured after crashing into tree

A 24-year-old Colombian cyclist has been seriously injured after crashing into a tree in Burmarrad. 

The cyclist lost control of her bicycle in Triq Burmarrad, Burmarrad on Wednesday afternoon.  

Police and an ambulance were called onsite, with her injuries later being certified as being serious.

A magisterial inquiry and police investigation is still underway.
