Two men arrested in possession of large quantities of cannabis

Two men were arrested Thursday after police found large quantities of suspected cannabis

The police said that a 25-year-old from Birkirkara was stopped by the police who found 5kg of suspected cannabis packed in blocks in his car.

The drugs appeared to be ready for trafficking.

Then, during a police search inside a farm in the limits of Mosta, a 42-year-old man was arrested after being found to be in possession of 10kg of suspected cannabis resin.

A magistral inquiry is underway.
