Man seriously injured while operating machinery

A man was hospitalised following an accident involving machinery in Attard.

The accident occurred at 8:15am in Triq l-Imdina.

Police said the 38-year-old Italian was injured by machinery he was using in a field.

The victim was taken to Mater Dei hospital for further treatment.

A police investigation is ongoing.
