Man critical after B’kara bypass accident

Police said that it was notified of the incident around 9:00 am, and that the vehicle that hit the 61-year-old man was driven by a 22-year-old woman, also from Birkirkara.

An ambulance was called to the scene, which took the man to Mater Dei where he was certified as being in critical condition.

The police also informed the public that part of the bypass (towards Marsa from Birkirkara) is closed off, and that they should use alternative routes to avoid congestion.
