Maltese fishing crew forced to abandon ship in vessel blaze
Italian coast guard succour five-man crew said to have been part of a Maltese fishing operation.

The crew of a Maltese fishing boat had to abandon ship after the vessel, ‘Uragano’ according to Italian media reports, caught on fire.
The incident happened on the 6 October.
The boat was at the northernmost tip of the Olbia maritime zone, next to the Montecristo and La Maddalena islands.
The Olbia and La Maddalena coast guards were alerted to a call for assistance from the five-man crew of the 18-metre vessel.
Two patrol boats were despatched, as well as the French aviation division in Solenzara, Corsica and the Italian air force near Sarzana
