Bouncer suffers broken leg in fight at ‘Fuego’ bar in Qawra
Two men were charged with injuring bouncer Michael Sammut by hitting him with a bar stool as he tried to stop a fight between patrons at Fuego Bar in Qawra.
Johan Dimech 29, from Birkirkara and Carmel Ciappara 51, from Naxxar were charged with disorderly behavior and for having injured Michael Sammut and three other bouncers during the fight.
According to the police, the bouncers approached a certain Jimmy Muscat who was being rowdy and asked him to keep it down.
At this point, the accused Dimech and Ciappara intervened and starte to attack the bouncers.
Pepper spray was also used in the fight.
