In the Press: NAO to present investigative audit on Gaffarena expropriation deal

The National Audit Office is due to present an investigative audit in parliament today, which focused on the contentious expropriation of a Valletta property from Marco Gaffarena. Planning secretary Michael Falzon approved the expropriation.

Transport Malta has been paying about €122,000 in rent for a building it has not moved into. The Paola premises belongs to the General Workers Union, which has been paid for the lease of the property since September.

43-year-old Dorothy Refalo, dubbed 'Gozo's drug queen', was arrested yesterday in Rabat, Gozo. A search of her Ta' Sannat home turned up some 50g of heroin.
