In the Press: Stone suppliers deny providing poor quality product for Parliament facade

The stone supplier who provided the cladding for the exterior facade of the Parliament building has strongly denied allegations that inferior quality stone was used in the project. HalMann Vella Group CEO Joseph Tabone said the company making the accusations - CFF Filiberti srl - was doing so in order to avoid paying its dues.

A Libyan man was remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to the rape and injury of a Hungarian woman in Paceville, in the early hours of yesterday morning. The 27-year-old was found bruised and bleeding on the steps of a Paceville apartment building and identified the man as one of her aggressors.
