In the Press: Conversion therapy does not respect dignity, Archbishop clarifies

Amid a storm of public outrage following a position paper released by the Curia, Archbishop Charles Scicluna said that gay conversion therapy - which is supposedly meant to 'cure' homosexuality - did not respect human dignity. Scicluna urged the public to read the position paper in its entirety before reaching conclusions.

Opposition leader Simon Busuttil said that come the next election, the public would vote for the party that offered them the truth. Busuttil said that Joseph Muscat had mislead the people by promising everyone everything, even those who did not deserve it.
