Medical emergency forces Air Malta flight diversion

Social media reports that flight had to make emergency landing in Paris after an emergency squawk alert
 

Air Malta flight KM146 landed at Paris's Orly airport after a medical emergency forced a diversion of the aircraft while en route to Manchester, UK.

The flight was expected to land in Manchester at 6:20pm (CET).

Flight radar airspotters alerted social media users of the emergency diversion.

The passenger taken sick and a few other travelling companions alighted from the plane in Paris, which then departed once again to travel onwards to Manchester.
