Man stabbed by woman in Fgura

A woman has been arrested in connection with the grievious injury of a 26 year-old man from Senglea, who was stabbed during a domestic fight. Sources say that the man was hit by his partner who managed to take away the knife from his hands as he threatened her with it.

The man was hospitalised soon after neighbours in Mahatma Ghandi Street in Fgura reported a bleeding man walking in the street and asking for help.

A police statement explained that although the man's sustained grievious injuries, he was not in danger of dying.

Investigations are still ongoing.
