Clyde Puli: Salary for PN secretary general still to be negotiated

The salary that Clyde Puli will be receiving as the PN secretary-general is still being negotiated, he told MaltaToday.

Moreover, he confirmed that he will be leaving his current job in order to be able to take on the duties of his new post fulltime. He is currently employed as manager of the communications department at the foundation of medical services.

When asked whether he will be contesting the next general election, he said that there is no doubt that he will. “It is an excellent thing to contest,” he told MaltaToday, “and everyone does it.”

The Nationalist MP secured the post by being the only one to submit his nomination by the deadline. Previously, MEP David Casa was expected to run for the post, but decided not to due to his duties in Brussels, leaving Puli as the only candidate.
