Two items in the Lidl range Italian Gringo contain mustard, which is not listed in the product ingredients, the Environmental Health Directorate has warned.

It was the company that informed the health authorities that two of its products – Lo Spuntino del Mandriano and Gli Speroni – were found to contain mustard.

The products are edible but cannot be consumed by those who are allergic to mustard.

The company said it is possible that the impacted batches may not have been sold in Malta.

Anybody concerned about the product can contact the Health Inspectorate on 21337333 between 8am and 2.30pm.
