The DB Group has said that it is not expecting any major changes to its City Centre high-rise project, after a decision concerning a review of the development was issued yesterday.

In a company announcement today, SD Finance - the issuer of the bond that is financing the project - said, in a reaction to Thursday’s decision by the Environment and Planning Review Tribunal (EPRT), that the company and its consultants would be "studying" the results of the review.

The Group noted that its permit for the development of the former ITS site had been confirmed, but that the EPRT was "requesting certification from Transport Malta confirming that the existing road network infrastructure is adequate to cater for the generation of traffic by the development once each phase is completed and an application for a Compliance Certificate is made by the applicant".

"[The company and its consultants] do not expect any major changes to the original overall approach to the development," the announcement added.
