Two rescued from kitchen fire in Birkirkara
The Civil Protection Department was called to assist on Thursday evening after a fire broke out in the kitchen of an apartment

Two people have been treated for smoke inhalation on Thursday evening after a fire broke out in an apartment in Birkirkara.
The incident was reported at 7:30pm in Triq Paris.
The Civil Protection Department deployed two fire engines.
Firefighters were able to access the apartment through the balcony.
The fire appears to have started in the kitchen. However, the cause is known at this time.
