What is Bi-Fuel? And how does it work?

Bi-Fuel is the name for Dacia’s engines running on petrol and LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas). LPG is a combination of propane and butane, which is added to an existing petrol engine by integrating an injection system.

The switchover from petrol to LPG, and vice versa is very simple. It can be done either manually or automatically (when the LPG tank is empty). A dedicated gauge helps you monitor the LPG level in your tank and displays the remaining driving distance. A technology that is proven, safe, simple and makes driving more cost-effective for you.
