Bugibba summer carnival will feature parade of 10 floats

Relatively new to the calendar, Malta’s summer carnival is rapidly gaining in popularity, here is all you need to know

The Buġibba summer carnival will be held on the 27 and 28 August from 7pm till 11pm.

The carnival will feature a parade of 10 floats accompanied by their participants. Various dance companies will be exhibiting their talent at Buġibba's main square.

Saturday route:

From 7pm onwards, the floats will depart from Dawret il-Gżejjer (from near Millenium Garden), and pass from the Pjazza, Islet Promenade, Triq il-Merluzz, Triq il-Fliegu (towards Mavina), Triq il-Maskli (towards Santana), Triq il-Port Ruman and park at that location.

Sunday Route:

From 7pm onwards, the floats will depart from Triq il-Port Ruman, and pass from Triq il-Maskli, Triq il-Fliegu, Triq il-Merluzz, Islet Promenade, Pjazza, and Triq il-Pijunieri.
