Domino’s Pizza International and Domino’s Malta have had a very busy first week, with their first Maltese outlet claiming to have broken Domino’s European sales order record in its first week of operations.

Within the first 10 minutes of opening the Dominos outlet - located in Birkirkara - had over 80 orders placed. The influx of orders was so great that by closing time, the outlet had ran out of key supplies.

Domino’s Birkirkara have apologized to customers for not being able to meet the demand of orders but are “honoured to have served each one of you” and are “striving to always deliver a better Domino’s experience”.

The outlet is currently searching for new drivers to join their team and also feature a real-time pizza tracker on their website, allowing users to track their delivery order from the time it leaves Dominos Birkirkara till it’s delivered at their door-step.

According to the franchise, the average delivery time was improved just last week from 28 minutes to 20 minutes.
