The Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor fight concluded early Sunday morning 7am CET, with undisputed boxing championg Floyd Mayweather emerging as the winner.

The boxer moved to a 50-0 career record as he proved too good for the Irish upstart Conor McGregor from the world of mixed martial arts.

McGregor's night began promisingly, with some impressive blows landed in the early round.

But as the fight progressed, Mayweather's defensive prowess held the Irishman at bay, finally wearing him out towards the ninth and tenth round. Some heavy punches landed on McGregor in these crucial rounds, where Mayweather began to assert his dominance.

The referee called a halt to proceedings in the 10th round.

In the ninth round, after some confident performances by McGregor, Mayweather launched a big assusult, looking for the uppercut to finish the fight. As referee Robert Byrd pushed them apart, it was evident that McGregor was exhausted.

In the final round, Mayweather rained hard, concussive, accurate punches and McGregor could be seen stumbling across the ring and into the ropes, off balance. The attack continued as Mayweather asserted dominance, and as the MMA fighter took two lefts on the ropes, referee Robert Byrd waved the fight off, declaring that the Irishman had had enough.
