Liam Reno Gatt impresses at the 2014 Storsjo Cup International Youth Tournament

Their participation was a success as the Under 13 team won the final from amongst fifty teams, and one of the Under 12 teams reached also the final from amongst eighty teams only to be beaten by the Mexican Intercups Football Team.

The coaches in charge of the MSSF boys were Michael Farrugia, Paul Camilleri and Kenneth Deguara. Also participating in the tournament was Liam Reno Gatt in the Under 16 Section. After taking part in last year's event with the MSSF he was invited to play with the local Swedish football team IFK Ostersund as a guest player.

He left a very good impression with the team where he showed good skills and attitude helping the locals reach the quarter-finals, scoring three goals in the process.

Besides given space on the local newspapers, the club also recognised Liam for his professional commitment throughout the tournament.
