Arsenal sign Villarreal defender Paulista

Arsenal finally reached an agreement with Villarreals’ Brazilian central defender Gabriel Paulista over a move to the Emirates Stadium.  The deal is worth a reported £11.3 million with Costa Rica forward Joel Campbell moving to Spain for the remainder of the season.

Gabriel will be adding steel to an often short Arsenal defence, and is in line to make his debut on Sunday against Aston Villa.
