Arsenal to face Barca, Juve will play Bayern in Champions League draw

Champions League draws announced

Arsenal will have to face Barcelona as the draws for the Champions League were announced earlier today. The two teams had faced each other 10 years ago in the final. Barcelona had won with a score of 2-1.

Juventus will face Bayern Munich, Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea will play against PSG while Real Madrid will face AS Roma.

Dynamo Kiev was drawn to play against Manchester City and PSV Eindhoven will take Altletico Madrid.

Bayern defender, Philipp Lahm said that the match against Juventus is a “European Classic” and said that it should present itself as a big challenge for them. “We want to make it to the quarter-finals and will give everything to do so.”

The first legs will be played in February, second legs to be played in March.  

First Legs:

16 February: Paris v Chelsea, Benfica v Zenit

17 February: Gent v Wolfsburg, Roma v Real Madrid

23 February: Arsenal v Barcelona, Juventus v Bayern

24 February: PSV v Atlético, Dynamo Kyiv v Manchester City

Second Leg:

8 March: Wolfsburg v Gent, Real Madrid v Roma

9 March: Chelsea v Paris, Zenit v Benfica

15 March: Atlético v PSV, Manchester City v Dynamo Kyiv

16 March: Barcelona v Arsenal, Bayern v Juventus
