Hamilton's three-year deal with Mercedes expires at the end of 2015 and the Briton has been conducting his own negotiations, with the aid of a lawyer.

Hamilton said in Spain last weekend that he had read through the contract several times and dismissed suggestions that financial demands were causing delays.

"You'll see it in Monaco - I will have some news for you in Monaco," Hamilton is quoted by Reuters.

Hamilton put his contract negotiations on talk during 2014 in order to focus on his title battle with team-mate Nico Rosberg.

The Briton said earlier this year that the negotiations wrere "99.6%" done and joked last weekend that he was fluent in "lawyer jargon."
