22-year-old Anthea Zammit conquered the sprint competition during the Miss World sports finals, landing her the third place in overall results.

Zammit, who is representing Malta at the Miss World beauty pageant, formed part of the Red Team – the overall winning team.

Miss World Sports Final is a chance for the contestants to really bond as sisters, as they cheer on for their team members. The 24 Miss World Sports finalists is determined by the preliminary sports testing.

The final was divided into four parts: the 60m Sprint, the long jump, shot put and the team relay. These four events all contributed to both the team and individual scores. The ladies pushed themselves to their limits, while their team members cheered them on.

Cook Islands took home the Miss World 2016 Sportswoman title, securing her an automatic spot in the Top 20 of Miss World 2016.
