In the singles Mark had some good wins. First he played against Oliver Focher(GBR)6/2/6/1.However the result was closer than the scoreline suggests. His next match was versus world ranked 159 in the world O35 Nigel Hunter(GBR).

Mark won the first set 7/5 getting the crucial break of serve at 6/5. He was then leading his opponent 3/2 in the second set when the rain came down. His opponent unfortunately decided to concede the match and Mark was through to his first singles Final on the Senior Tour without losing his service once.

The next day Mark`s final was on the main show court. It was very windy and his opponent, world ranked no.24 in the O35s, Jonathan Downes(GBR) had a great start and mastered the conditions better than Mark. Mark struggled to hold serve only managing to hold serve once in the set 1/6. Mark started the second set well and was managing to win his service games at the start of the set.

At 3/2 he got the break only to be broken straight back. The remaining games went with serve meaning that the second set went to a tie break. Mark played the breaker well winning it 7/4 to square the match. He even broke his opponents serve at the start of the third set. He went 3/1 up only to be broken back. Mark held serve to square the match again at 4 all. His opponent then won 2 games in a row and the title.

In the doubles Mark and his partner for the week Ryan Williams(GBR) played very well in the semi finals to win 6/0,6/2 versus M. Debbane(LEB)/T.Geortzen(ESP). In the final Mark and Ryan played Danny Ward(GBR) who has represented Great Britain and has been as high as no5 in the world O35 and his partner Michael Elames(GBR)(No 16  O35). Mark and his partner lost the final by a very respectable scoreline of 6/4 6/2.
