Air Malta flies to new Schengen terminals

Air Malta advised travellers yesterday that as a result of Malta’s entry into the Schengen area, it has started operating to Schengen terminals in some airports.
Separate halls for arrivals from Schengen and non-Schengen countries have also been introduced at Malta International Airport and distinct boarding gates have been allocated to flights destined to non-Schengen areas.
The airport terminal changes are the following: at Amsterdam, terminal changes from 3 to Terminals 1 & 2; at Berlin, TXL, changes from Terminal B to Terminal C; at Budapest, BUD, changes from Terminal 2B to Terminal 2A; in Dusseldorf, DUS, changes from Hall C to Hall B; in Prague, PRG, from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2; and from Rome Fiumicino, FCO, changes from Terminal C to Terminal B.
The airline also urged passengers to still carry passports or ID cards when travelling to Schengen countries since they may be needed to confirm identity.
