Spaghetti with Maltese sausage
Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 Maltese sausages, skinned
- 400g tinned tomatoes
- 2 tubs fresh cream
- 1 gbejna
- Handful parsley, chopped
- 500g spaghetti
Method
- Start by frying the onion until translucent.
- Add the garlic, the add the Maltese sausage and fry until the meat is cooked through
- Add the tomato sauce and turn the heat to low.
- Simmer for at least 30 minutes.
- Add the cream and chopped gbejna.
- Boil the spaghetti until al dente.
- Mix the sauce and the pasta.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and pieces of chopped gbejna.
