Amy Winehouse found dead at home

It has been reported that Amy Winehouse has died from an overdose at her London Flat this afternoon, whilst police are non-committal on what caused her death.

According to Sky News, Singer Amy Winehouse has been found dead at her home in Camden, north London, at the age of 27, police have confirmed.

Officers were called by the ambulance service to an address in NW1 just after 4pm today.

"On arrival, officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene," a police statement said.

Her death is being treated as unexplained and inquiries are continuing into the circumstances, it added.

Amy Winehouse has had a troubled history with drugs and drinking problem, and with the added pressure of fame, her antics have been widely documented. Her recent tour was cancelled after she was unable to sing onstage.

@monique All these people you mentioned lost their lives because of their bad habits, mostly drugs. What a waste of young talent, but unfortunately in the show business, drugs play a big part of the game, and those who are weak will lose the game rather early in their life. You mentioned some good examples.
