The Waterfront Hotel awarded the TripAdvisor and Zoover Awards
The TripAdvisor accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide.
Only 10% of hotels listed on TripAdvisor qualify for the awards. TripAdvisor-branded sites make up the largest travel community in the world, with more than 50 million unique monthly visitors, and over 60 million reviews and opinions.
To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, The Waterfront Hotel maintained an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.
The Zoover Highly Recommended Award is given to places to stay that have been recommended by most Zoover visitors.
Overlooking the city of Sliema, the open seas and the capital city Valletta, The Waterfront Hotel is the perfect choice for discerning travellers. Guests can unwind in the hotel's bright and comfortable guest rooms or chill in the Hotel's Lobby Bar where one can keep in touch with friends and family with internet access.
The 116 rooms, most of which enjoy unobstructed seaview, are maintained to a very high standard and have spacious balconies and set with amenities to make every stay a memorable one.
The hotel's main restaurant, The Regatta Restaurant, serves buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner on a daily basis, while weekly BBQ dinners are held on the Roof Top Terrace by the swimming pool.
The Basilico Restaurant offers an a la carte menu, serving salads, pasta, pizza, grills. Star Café, the Hotel's cafeteria, offers a vast selection of snacks and has recently introduced some fantastic new items to the menu.
The Waterfront Hotel also offers conference facilities with two conference rooms that can take up to 200 delegates.
