Armed thief holds up Santa Venera shop

Armed person holds sales person at knifepoint in Santa Venera

An armed person held a sales person at knife point in Santa Venera on Saturday evening and then made off with cash.

The theft was carried at around 7pm in Triq il-Kanun, police said on Sunday.

No one was injured. Police are still on the lookout for the thief.
