Motorcyclist hospitalised after crash in Gozo

A motorcyclist has been hospitalised with serious injuries after losing control of his motorbike and crashing into a wall in Munxar, Gozo.

The incident occurred at around 6.30pm on Thursday in Triq il-Qsajjem, Munxar. The 42-year-old, who lives in Fontana, Gozo, was riding a Yamaha motorcycle when he lost control and hit a wall.

A medical team was called to the scene and an ambulance took the motorcyclist to the Gozo General Hospital, where he was later certified as having sustained serious injuries.

A police investigation is still ongoing.
