Three construction workers injured after scaffolding collapses
Two men aged 40 and 23 are certified to have suffered serious injuries, while the condition of a 27-year-old man is still unknown following a workplace accident
Three construction workers from St Paul's Bay were injured after scaffolding collapsed while working at a recycling plant in Marsa.
The police said that on Tuesday at around 3:15pm, they were informed that assistance was needed at Triq il-Belt Valletta. The incident happened at the Zero Waste Recycling facility.
The police, along with members of the Civil Protection Department and a medical team immediately went to the scene to assist the workers, who were later rushed to Mater Dei Hospital in an ambulance.

Investigations by the police, as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Authority, are still ongoing.
