18-year-old grievously injured after being hit by motorcycle

An 18-year-old woman suffered grievous injuries after being hit by a motorcycle on Triq Ħal Luqa in Paola. 

At around 10:30am on Monday morning, police were alerted of an accident between the 18-year-old Naxxar resident and a 27-year-old man from Fgura who was driving a Znen motorcycle.

The woman was treated by a medical team and then rushed by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital, where she was certified to have suffered grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
