Popular DJ, radio host Ryan Spiteri found dead with woman in car in Marsaskala

A woman and a man were found dead in a car in Marsaskala on Tuesday, police confirmed.

At around 9pm, the police were informed of the incident on Triq Salvu Buhagiar in the Bella Vista area of Marsaskala and immediately went to the scene.

Upon arriving, police discovered two lifeless indviduals inside a red car which was parked in the driveway of a garage.

The individuals were identified as 47-year-old DJ and radio host Ryan Spiteri and a 41-year-old woman from St Paul's Bay.

A medical team and members of the Civil Protection Department were called to assist, however, the pair were certified dead on the scene.

Police said the possibility of third-party involvement has been ruled out.

Investigations are ongoing.

Magistrate Monica borg Galea was appointed an inquiry.
