Motorcyclist suffers grievous injuries after van collision in Birkirkara

A 28-year-old motorcyclist was left with grievous injuries after a crash involving a van that hapened in Birkirkara on Saturday morning, the police said.

The collision happened around 11am in Triq Fleur-de-Lys.

Initial investigations revealed that an Isuzu Elf van driven by a 64-year-old man had collided with a Surron Ultra Bee motorcycle ridden by a man from Balzan.

The motorcyclist was taken to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was certified to have suffered grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
