Two motorcycle drivers were grievously hurt on Wednesday after separate traffic accidents.

Preliminary investigations suggest that there was a collision between a 28-year-old Indian motorcycle driver and a Toyota Ractis driven by a 51-year-old woman from Rabat.

The second incident happened 15 minutes later in Żurrieq’s Triq il-Belt Valletta.

Police say that a 30-year-old woman riding a motorcycle was involved in a collision with a Toyota Yaris driven by a 38-year-old woman who lives in Żurrieq.
