Police arrest recipient of kilogram of cocaine
The kilogram of cocaine is worth around €100,000 and was shipped to Malta from France

Police have arrested a man believed to have been the recipient of a kilogram of cocaine worth around €100,000.
Police said that after intercepting the shipment of cocaine which came from France, police conducted a controlled delivery to the recipient, a 40-year-old English man.

Magistrate Joe Mifsud was informed of the case and has launched an inquiry.
The suspect is set to be arraigned at around 10am on Friday.
