Two drivers grievously hurt after Birkirkara crash

Two drivers were hospitalised after a collision in Birkirkara on Thursday night.
The accident happened at around 11pm in Triq Sir Anthony Mamo, Birkirkara. Preliminary investigations suggest that a crash between a Fiat Punto driven by a 35-year-old man and an Isuzu DMax driven by a 37-year-old left both drivers grievously injured.
A 35-year-old man who was a passenger in the Isuzu suffered light injuries.
The victims were aided by a medical team and members of the Civil Protection Department before they were taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
